List of Feature Layers typically used for MECCMap

Note that it is not required to have all of the layers listed above, except of course the address points and centerlines.  The more of the layers you have though, the more useful the program will be.  If you have additional layers that you want included that would be fine, just have to be careful not to “clutter the map” too much.

It is highly recommended that the “HOUSE NUMBER” field in the Address Points layer has an attribute index on it, and well as the “STREET NAME” field in the Centerlines layer.  Having attribute indexes on those 2 fields will greatly reduce the amount of time required to do a search.
